What is BravoTran?
-
BravoTran is an automation platform for freight forwarders. It covers three connected products: Payables (paying invoices correctly and on time), Receivables (auditing and managing what you bill), and Cash Application (matching and closing incoming payments). All three run on the same pattern: BravoTran automates the confirmable majority of transactions and only routes genuine exceptions to a person.
Who is BravoTran built for?
+
Freight forwarders run AP, AR, or cash reconciliation across spreadsheets, manual checks, or disconnected point tools. BravoTran works across TMS platforms, not just CargoWise, so it fits forwarders on other systems too.
Do I have to buy all three products, or can I start with one?
+
You can start with one. BravoTran is sold modularly. A forwarder who only wants Payables is a complete, fully served customer, not a partial one. You can add Cash Application or Receivables later if and when you need them.
How is BravoTran different from other AP/AR automation tools?
+
Most tools flag a possible match and leave someone to close it. BravoTran matches and closes confirmed transactions automatically across Payables, Receivables, and Cash Application. Only real exceptions reach a person. That's a difference in kind, not just a smaller number of manual touches.
BravoTran was also built specifically for freight forwarders, not adapted from a general AP/AR tool. We process more invoices in this industry than any other vendor, so our matching is built on freight-specific volume, not a generic dataset. Other tools serve forwarders as one vertical among many. We only serve this industry, which is why we catch the exceptions a generalist tool misses.
Is BravoTran built specifically for CargoWise?
+
No. BravoTran integrates with CargoWise, and that integration runs deep, but BravoTran is TMS-agnostic and works with other systems as well. Large forwarders and their freight auditors typically need more than what any single TMS can deliver on its own, which is part of why BravoTran exists as a separate layer.
